Very First Structurally correct sestina, although the rhythm and scheme is off, but it's a start!
You are a house of screaming souls
where bent leather meets white metal
and lives are changed by whistles forever.
You are a grand ray of light in the darkness of night
watching feet of furious feats take flight.
You are the music to make them dance with amusement,
with even the young engulfed in amusement.
Though believe not with their eyes what’s touched weary souls,
still they witness the glory of curling flight.
Powerful is Rooney’s strike, whose limbs resemble metal
he is the knight who saves us in the depths of the night.
He is the promise, the promise that lasts forever.
You hold screams so joyous, they will ring forever
they embrace the game that brings amusement
the leather steals the air like a thief in the night
they all rise in angst gripping their souls
only to be seated when leather thrashes metal.
Defenders leap like swift hawks taking flight,
wanting to shoot down the leather from its flight,
for a lost chance will be remembered forever.
The opposition is strong, tougher than metal,
but still they smile from the inevitable amusement.

with warm hearts they go, laughing into the night.
