Today is as good as yesterday and as bad as tomorrow
It will have a sunrise and twilight separated by your actions taken in-between; for your actions are a part of its adventure.
How you approach the day dictates the experiences you have during that time. Once that time has passed it is yours no longer and it belongs to that day. Your time within the day makes up the currency for your life and the day is our banker.
Every day we pay a coin of life defining the value of that time spent. Our coins are not forever and our account is maintained by our faith in something greater than us. We are often told to save every penny that we have, as living draws payments for every smile that we enjoy and tear that we cry. No matter the ups and downs, every morning we wake up, we must start the day and visit the teller for payment.
A day is not good or bad, for it is simply God’s bank holding each of our accounts of life.
When one has an account near full, they rarely care about a penny paid.
When one has less tomorrows than yesterdays, the dividends of memories become priceless; for they are the only things that are truly ours.
Tomorrow, I will awaken to spend another coin for this life.
May those I meet compare purses with me without envy, but with festivity knowing that how we choose to approach each other decides our wealth.
If you have less coin than me, I offer you my smile in hopes for your advice. On that price-tag it will say, ‘Wisdom’.
If you have more coin than me, I offer you my advice in return for your smile. On that price-tag it will say, ‘Appreciation’.
When our deal is done, let us shake hands and hold onto to one another for a time, for this is called Community; this is a good bond to have.
When my account is empty and I pass into my final twilight, I will never regret the spending of any of my coins. They have gifted me with happiness, sadness, melancholy, and celebration… which are all a part of the strongest fiber in the universe, called Love.
Wisdom has taught me, Love is something critical to creating family... take it with a smile.
Until then… I will look forward to what tomorrow may bring... and to you?
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!
