There's just something about forums that make them, oh, I dunno... un-user friendly, perhaps?
Or maybe it'll just help to know who we are and what we're all about in the first place.
This is the forum for Visual Adjectives. And what in Granny's name is Visual Adjectives, you ask?
In other words, we write stuff (and yes, that was copy and pasted from the main web site
).
We've got novels, characters, worlds to explore, concepts, ideas, art, you name it. And we know that you have some of these things as well. This forum was created as a fun and safe (and I emphasize SAFE) place to do so.
Let me take the time to make it clear that we're not here to STEAL YOUR WORK. We may be a publishing company but we're not evil business masterminds out to make free money from doe-eyed writers who have dreams of making it big. No, Visual Adjectives was created by writers and it was created by artists for the sole purpose of being able to create and publish our ideas without worrying about "Big Name Publishing House" taking our creations and running away with them off to who-knows-where. That isn't to say we don't market our ideas, but know that you are among other creators who share a deep kinship with their work.

Yes, you can seek assistance and advice here. We have all kinds of boards here that contain resources you can use, and members that may have the right advice on how to move forward with it, whether it's during the writing process or after it. - "I want to publish with you guys."
Visual Adjectives offers a number of services, including professional editing, reviews and critiques of your work. If you have absolutely exhausted all of our free resources here on the forum and feel you are absolutely ready to take that next step, then head on over to our services page. - "What if I just want to find out more about your stories?"
Feel free to email any of the authors or artists at Visual Adjectives. Their contact information can be found on the main site, and you may even find one of us lurking around here on the forums, such as myself.
The main site also has a gallery of art work, and soon enough it will have a section that elaborates on the stories and the characters within. In the meantime, don't be afraid to contact us or interact with us on the forums. I'm certain most of us are more than willing to elaborate on the projects that we're working on.
