I'll put up the first part of the chapter up on the work I'm currently writing. I will also put up a short film script derived from it, which can be used as the script for the graphic novel:
Ajalla The Psycho-Telepath
By Sarah Weaver
A futuristic circular home enterior, the silicon chrome walls go bling bling bling. A family of four high elves, of the Aryan breed are watching a dark sitcom from a hologram projector, thats built into the walls itself.
The little girl has long straight blond hair, and is about 5'6, while the boy named Ajalla has slightly curly long blond hair with a blue bow to the side, and is about 5'8. They both have eyes as blue as a deep ocean. Both of them are around eight, and start second grade tommorrow morning.
The father looks a little bit like the boy, except older and his hair is straight. The mother looks like an older version of the girl. The girl named Mikale, is playing with the boys hair who's wide eyes squirm with freight at the tv screen. The father is snickering at the boys reaction to both things, as he poke his sister hand to get her to stop.
"Please stop Mikale, thats annoying." Ajalla said.
"Don't bother your brother Mikale. You wouldnt like it if he played with yours." The mother said.
"But I can't help it, his hair is so pretty and soft." Mikale said.
"Thats true. ...Thats what you get Ajalla for having hair like a girls." The moher said.
Ajalla continues to stare at the screen, where the scene is of that of a large desert. A stereotypical Earth man is crawling through the white sands.
"I don't care for the show, its scary." Ajalla said.
"Just think Ajalla, this show is turning you into a man. Manning up is what I think you need. You need to grow up to see the world how it actually is."
The father said.
"I don't get it though..." The mother began to bring up, but was interupted.
"What!?" The father asked.
"Nevermind." The mother said, then her smile faded into a straight line.
The short sitcom fades to black, and the credits roll. The father takes his remote, and turns off the television. The hologram turns off.
"Time for bed kids. You need energy for your first day of second grade tommorrow." The father said. The mother tucks the kids into their sleeping pods, and then the couple has a short coversation.
"Hunny, I'm starting to get a little concerned...." The mother said.
"Is it about the show? Yea I don't like it either. Cie Le Vie! Besides these shows our required by the high elves counsel, dont ya know!" The father said.
"The people that run our government are brainwashing our kids!" The mother yalled.
"Yea whatever. Remember when I work in the morning you can't go into my special shack. Thats mens space only! Don't want to catch you sneaking in there again. Elf pappy has work to do."
Ajalla is crawling through the white sands, similar to the white sands in the tv show he was watching. Eventually he finds an old man in an advanced high elven engineer suit waving at him. Ajalla's Eyes snap open. Its morning.
....
Ajalla is seen waving his mother farewell as he begins to walk to school. He has varying violent images from the movie he watched last night flash through his head, as well as bound up belt ready for the whipping laying on a table.
As he approaches the road, we can see more clearly the village of domes, a world ruled by nothing but what is simply natural and evolutionary. The silicon dome houses have their own gardens, which appear well tended. The houses have shacks of which the wives may not enter.
He is greeted by Jeinkaru, who he calls Jein. Jein appears very gender confused, but is actually a boy who loves and refuses to war absolutely nothing but red. Red space suit, red crocs, red red red. Their own hair is blond red. Scream me blood red! Ajalla likes to call him bratty Jein, but he has a good heart,....thats red!!!
Jein is slightly shorter than Ajalla, being around 5'6 in contract to Ajalla's 5'8. Jein forcefully grabs his wrists so he can unbuckle Ajalla's watch, so he can put it away.
"Jein, what are you doing!" Ajalla says, and gently pushes his wrists out of the way. Jeins eyes well up, and they runs away screaming.
Ajalla has finally reached his destination, and climbs the stares. As he reaches the door, he stares out into the schools garden. A blurry weeping willow can be seen blowing in the wind. Ajalla looks at his watch, and realizes he has ten minutes before class. Ajalla rushes in, and hurredly pushes the other students out of the way so he won't be late.
In class, Ajalla is watching the teacher present second grade level math. The teachers notices Ajalla looks wide eyed, akward, and scared. He figured since it was the first day of second grade, it was simply being somewhere new. Two of the boys that used to shy away from him in first grade, plant lustful thoughts images of the cutest girl in class. He can here their voices say directly into his brain:
He looks over at Jein, who is playing with their hair starring at Ajalla.
"Ajalla, pay attention!" The teacher says. Jein giggles, then proceeds with thought implants some more:
Ajalla exits class at the bell, and was greeted by Jeinjaru, who slammed him into the lockers:
"Can you please, get rid of your watch?" Jein asks, the innocent expression would make you think thats exactly what they were. Ajalla calls for help, and two school resource officers drive him away.
Ajalla decides to invite Jeinkaru for lunch, but at first he is initially afraid to talk to him. Not cause he was scary, but because Jein seemed somehow,...pethetic. When Jein hesitantly allows himself to sit with him, Ajalla begins to ask about the situation, but is interupted by Jein who interjects:
"If its about the watch...." Jeinsaid, then became red faced, and is holding their hands in their face. They shaking violently.
"Jein, whats wrong. Ok I'm sorry for..." Ajalla began to say, but paused for a minute to notice Jeins behaviour. Jein stops shaking for a second, peeks through their hands, and then shakes some more. And then they finally become bold enough once more to stare him, like a supposedly happy little kid.
"I'm sorry Ajalla, honest!" Jein said, Ajalla looks confused.
"Sorry for what!? I don't know what..."
"I'm sorry daddy don't hurt me! Please, just take it away!"
"Is it my watch? Are you jelouse of my watch? Wait...did you just call me?" Ajalla asked, and Jeins eyes began to well up again, puts their hands in their face again, and tries to avoid crying.
"Its....made of leather...ok look. I'll just take it off and put away in my pocket. It won't bother you again." Ajalla slowly unstraps it, and places it in his pocket. Jein stops shaking, and realizes he doesnt want to hurt him at all. Jeinkaru finally smiles after many years.
