Motivation seems to be an elusive fruit when it comes to writing and creating. For me... it is a fruit that is becoming more and more difficult to find.
Everyday I find myself missing it's taste, but when I go into the kitchen to look for a snack, its simply not there... so I sit in front of my computer screen and merely miss its flavor.
I find myself disappointed in myself. I could do more. I should do more. I have so many ideas and my pen leaves no mark.
Creators and writers are similar and yet different. Creators... create. Writers... write.
A creator is incomplete without the appreciation of his work; for that is the hidden grove growing his fruit called, 'Motivation'.
He must create in order to plant the trees for this fruit. He must record his creation in order to nurture it for growth. He must display and offer his creation in order for this tree to bear fruits.
And when the fruit is tasted... there is a sweetness that has no knowledge of ever being second to another when it comes to appreciation. It is oh-so addictive.
The secret is that this it is a fruit that must be offered to others in order to become ripe for the creator. That is the final part of its growth. Those that are visiting the orchard must bite into the fruit and then be willing to share it with him before the full sweetness can be tasted.
The challenge is when the fruit is finished and the tree stands amongst the countless other in the grove. There seem to be rows and rows or trees...
but why is it SO hard to find anymore fruit?
