First Person, Second Person, & Third Person

I have a few different stories lined up, all ready to be written, but I can't decide whether I want the story in third person limited (that is where the story uses names [ex. Tom ran towards the red bus as fast as he could.] and in a way "follows" the main character), or first person (that is where the story takes place from a point of view [ex. I was running as fast as my feet could take me towards the large red bus that was about to leave.]. The point of view doesn't have to be from the main character, it could be an observer on the sidelines. [ex.I watch Tom run towards the red bus, he looked like he was in a hurry.])
The main story I'm trying to write goes like this:
Four children are orphaned in some way. These children are soon adopted by this couple. The couple are scientists working for an agency trying to develop powerful beings that are in perfect balance with man, animal, and earth. The organization has been using a special serum that using artificial proteins and powerful catalysis to re-write the DNA of every person they test it on. But, the person's DNA must have a particular sequence in order for the person to live through the re-write of their DNA. This sequence is so rare that not even siblings have the same sequence. The four children are used for the latest guinea pigs of the serum and they survive. The organization trains the four children to be able to fight, kill and infiltrate. The children become young adults and they start to question where they came from, why are they like this, and so on. Each child goes off on their own to find out why they have their abilities [ex. control the temperature of water; able to produce flames with the smallest sparks; able to change the density of any type of earth (turn sand to diamond and vise-versa) and able to control the speed and direction of wind). Eventually they discover the truth that they were going to be used as weapons to control society and they feel betrayed.
Here are two different endings I have planned:
(A) The children confront the head of the organization aka the one who pulls the strings and try to take him down, but end up fighting children who has improved versions of their abilities. The original children end up taking down their "doubles" but at the cost of their own lives.
(B) The realization of them being weapons sends them into psychological self-destructive cycle and eventually their own bodies destroy themselves.
Also the story takes place from each of the children's point of view and also from the main bosses point of view.

If you are writing from each childs point of view, that really solves your dilemma for you. It would be necessary to write in first person.

If you wrote in third person, you wouldnt be able to include their thoughts. IF you wrote in Omniscient point of view you could include the thoughts. But if you want it to be written form each characters point of view, first person is how it has to be.

As to the ending...why not plot out several scenarios?

Hadnt heard from you in a while wingedwaterwolf17. I was just wondering how you chose to handle your points of view and your ending?
